    Description

    For bid is an original Fall & Winter 1916 Oakland, California catalog of GLOVES produced at 1115-1125 7th Street: M. W. HODKINS CO. "Honest Handwear."  This delightful catalog calls itself "Partial Price List Fall and Winter 1916."  16-page catalog illustrated with photographs of the various glove styles!  Catalog has 16 numbered pages with information and illustrations of the various fashions and styles of gloves and "handwear."  Illustration on the front cover of a customer at the counter.  The building is shown on the back with a photograph of the interior of the building.  This building still exists and is now the home of "Seafarers International Union" in Oakland.  Side of the building used to be painted with the words "M. W. HODKINS CO Manufacturers of GLOVES."
    This catalog was only lightly used.  It's still in very good condition!
