have been fluke fishing for over 25 years and use the same rigs that are being sold on this site!

It’s simple, it’s the quality and the knowledge developed over the years. Each rig is hand tied using the following materials:

Why fluorocarbon?-->
It matches the light refractivity of water making it virtually invisible. It sinks faster than mono and remarkably tough. If you use braid or colored lines, adding a leader of fluorocarbon increases hits and provides extra security against chafe and abrasion. Serious fisherman know
fluorocarbon is a must.

5/0 chemically sharpened hook
Why chemically sharpened?
The sharper the hook the more likely you will hook the fish. A fish that is making a soft bite may be able to spit the bait on a dull hook but will get caught on a super sharp hook. Plus the sharper and deeper the hook sets the less likely the fish will be able to shake the hook.

There are 4 beads as shown in the pictures. One between the hook and squid and three between and squid and spinner blade.

Knots
The hooks are snelled by hand. The snell knot is the best way to attach line to hook. It puts the least stress on both the hook and the line to insures a strong break resistant rig.
