    Description

    This wonderful vintage
Andrea Radio and "Sharp Focus" Television—tabletop unit is known as the "Sharron" with a model number of T-VK12—is housed in a mahogany wood cabinet/case and comes with the table stand. It was made in 1948 or 1949 and was purchased in November 1949 for 9. It is in very good aesthetic condition for its age and is being sold "as-is." When plugged in, you can hear and see some activity that indicates it will work, but it needs parts to be fully functional. This is a collector's dream, if he/she is aware of its uniqueness and has access to relevant parts in order to restore the combo radio and TV to full working order.
Andrea Radio Corporation started in 1934 by Mr. Frank A. D'Andrea. The company sold radios in the early days, and also offered pre-war television kits and factory assembled models.

PLEASE NOTE: Item is available for LOCAL PICK UP ONLY.  For out-of-area buyers, t
he buyer must make his or her own shipping arrangements, but item must be picked up within 10 calendar days of purchase unless prior arrangements are made with seller in advance of transaction. It is VERY HEAVY. (between 100 and 150 lbs would be my estimate). The radio-TV set is located on the first floor of a single-family home, in the foyer near the front door for easy removal. There are four steps down from the front porch to the ground.

a pick up location of 10304 (Staten Island, NY), where the vintage radio television set is located.
