Antique19th c. Staffordshire Pearlware Pink Luster Sugar Bowl Regency Lustre

Description

Offered is an early 19th century English Staffordshire pearlware pink lustre lidded sugar bowl. The bowl is beautifully decorated with a leaf and floral motif. It is a nice size measuring 6 5/8" in width and 6" in height.
The sugar bowl is in good condition considering its age. The lustre colors and white pearlware on the piece are bright. It does have two small stress hairlines on the bottom portion of the bowl with some stain (please see photos #10 and #11 with arrows pointing to area being described). Also, under the lid there are several small chips (please see photos #12 with arrows). However, these relatively small defects are not very noticeable and the bowl will display beautifully.
