Up on the auction block is a very nice circa late 1920's early 1930's Reach horse hide split finer baseball glove!
As the photos show, the glove is in game used but good condition. It has surface light wear through out, no ink, and no major damage (see all photos for condition). There is one tiny seam split at the inner base of the pointing and ring fingers but that's about it.
All of the leather is nice and soft and supple. All of the original leather tying and piping is present with just light surface wear. The wrist strap with metal button is in great shape and has the Reach logo in red ink. The leather interior of the glove has surface damage and a bit of the leather is missing. There is a black Reach makers tag sewn onto the wrist strap (see close-up). Reach is also marked on the palm (see close-up) along with GENUINE HORSE HIDE and the remnants of a players endorsement but unfortunately, we cannot make out what it says.
It is a nice full adult size glove measuring 10 1/4" tall X 10" wide.
Wood display stand is not included.
