VINTAGE GOLD ENCRUSTED CHINA SET
Striking and lovely vintage gold encrusted china oval serving set including a 5-3/4" long open sugar bowl standing 3" tall, and matching open creamer measuring 4-1/2" long and about 3" in height. Featuring dainty scalloped edges and the prettiest ruffled handles, they are finished inside and out in a vibrant gold color -- under side is faintly marked "J.R. KITTLER'S Gold Encrusted China ~ "EQUAL TO ANY ~ BETTER THAN MANY" - I believe these date to the 1930s.
Condition is lovely with no chips, cracks, hairlines, repairs, discoloration or damage -- faint usage and age related marks - but these are just beautiful and show very little wear. So reminiscent of Pickard gold china, they would be a wonderful addition to any home, collection, table or display!
