THE IOTA DLS-240-45 CONVERTER CHARGER USES STATE OF THE ART SWITCH MODE TECHNOLOGY TO CONVERT NOMINAL 220-240 AC VOLTAGE TO 13.4 DC VOLTAGE FOR BOTH DC LOAD OPERATION AND 12V BATTERY CHARGING AND IS ENGINEERED WITH THE USER AND VARIABLE ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS IN MIND. AS A POWER SUPPLY THE UNIT'S TIGHTLY CONTROLLED REGULATION ALLOWS THE USER TO OPERATE A NOMINAL 12VDC LOAD UP TO 45 AMPS. EXTRA CARE HAS BEEN GIVEN TO INSURE MANY YEARS OF SERVICE-FREE OPERATION, EVEN WHEN SUBJECTED TO EXTREMELY HARSH CONDITIONS. THE DLS-240-45 CONVERTER CHARGER WILL MAINTAIN THE BATTERY DELIVERING ITS FULL RATED CURRENT WHEN THE BATTERY CAPACITY FALLS SUFFICIENTLY LOW. THE VOLTAGE IS SET TO DELIVER ITS MAXIMUM CURRENT FOR THE NECESSARY PERIOD OF TIME TO MINIMIZE UNDUE STRESS TO THE BATTERY CAUSED BY HEATING OF ITS CELLS. THIS HELPS TO ENSURE THE LONGEST POSSIBLE LIFE OF THE BATTERY. AS THE BATTERY NEARS ITS FULL CAPACITY THE DLS-240-45 WILL AUTOMATICALLY DROP THE CURRENT, PROVIDING A FLOAT CHARGE TO PREVENT SELF-DISCHARGE OF THE CELLS. THIS UNIT PROVIDES AC/DC CONVERSION UP TO 45 AMPS AND FEATURES A DUAL VOLTAGE JACK ALLOWING THE USER TO MANUALLY SELECT BETWEEN A CHARGING VOLTAGE BETWEEN 13.6 AND 14.2V.

You can return the unit as long as it has not been used and is returned with all the original packaging, box, parts and instructions. The unit must be returned exactly as you received it. It is recommended when returning high value items that you add shipping insurance.
