SELECT CAPACITY 550W / 1100W / 1500W
Product Intoroduction
This is the most recommended transformer.
Made in Japan with the confidence that it will last for 10 to 20 years.
If you will be using high-powered Japanese appliances for a long time or for an extended period of time, this sturdy transformer is recommended.
If you want to use Japanese electrical appliances in the US, you will need a down transformer that can handle 120V. Economical step-down (voltage reduction) transformers
Japanese appliances can be used in countries around the world, and the price is reasonable.
*If you will be using the transformer continuously for more than one hour, please choose a transformer with a capacity of at least 1.25 times the power consumption of the appliance you will be using to ensure the reliability and safety of the transformer.
Main countries and regions where it can be used: USA, Canada, Central and South America, Asia.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Do I need a down transformer to use Japanese appliances in 120V areas?
A: If you are asking whether it is necessary or not, of course it is "necessary".
Japanese home appliances are basically designed to work with 100V voltage, so 120V is too big of a voltage. Japanese home appliances are basically made to run on 100V voltage, so 120V is too much voltage. What happens when this happens is that the appliances are overloaded.
Eventually, when they can no longer withstand this, the lines short out and get burnt, making them unusable. This is the principle of breakdown.
It is possible for a product to operate without the use of a down transformer, but we recommend the use of a down transformer in order to ensure safe, long-term use.
Q : What is a down transformer (step-up/step-down switching transformer)?
A : In Japan, the general household voltage (the voltage at the electrical outlet) operates at 100V. On the other hand, overseas, the voltage varies from country to country and is higher than in Japan, at 110, 120, 220, 230, and 240V. If you use Japanese 100V appliances overseas without a transformer, they may break due to the high voltage. To prevent damage, it is necessary to lower the voltage to 100V. A transformer that lowers the voltage is called a down transformer (step-down transformer).
Q : I want to use an electrical product with a power consumption of 1000W in the U.S. Can I use the model number NDF-1100U?
A: We recommend using a transformer with a capacity of 1.25 times or more the power consumption value if the appliance is to be used continuously for more than one hour, because the transformer may overheat during use, triggering a protective device or affecting the life of the transformer itself. We recommend the use of NDF-1500U instead of NDF-1100U, which has 1100W specifications.
Q: Can I use multiple appliances with one transformer?
A: It is possible to use multiple transformers by using power strips, etc. However, if you plan to use electrical appliances continuously for more than one hour, we recommend using a transformer with a capacity of at least 1.25 times the total power consumption.
