Matching prewar sight and sound 1939 GE HM-171 TV & H-640 Radio, These are complete, unrestored original's. The TV itself was designed and sold as a “picture-only” set and a companion radio would provide sound.
The extremely nice, HM-171 TV is one of possibly 20 known survivors worldwide and one of the very few mostly all-original, unrestored ones. It
    was never modified
later to include sound in the same cabinet as some were. There are no extra non-factory holes in the cabinet or the chassis for the audio control shaft/knobs. Cosmetics of both cabinet and chassis are excellent plus overall, the unrestored cabinet has the original finish with very little wear and it has a beautiful, undisturbed patina. The front glass, mask, knobs, decals and trim are extremely nice as well. It's complete with often-lost back and AC cord. It is most likely the nicest, original finish HM-171 around. The well preserved, unrestored chassis shows only a couple 1940's repairs done most likely just after the war. It is complete with most of the original tubes including the untested 5BP4/1802-P4 picture tube. The picture tube still holds it vacuum and displays well.
The matching H-640 radio is all-original, unrestored and appears to have most if not all its original tubes. Notice the matching veneer design and same Saturn knobs.
The pictures below are of the actual vintage television and radio I am selling.
