    READ THIS......
    Originally Vans Had Shoe Numbers Not Names

    The first Vans shoes to come out had numbers, not names.
    The first Vans shoe was the #44, which is called the Authentic today
    . These original shoes cost .49 for men and .29 for women. Next came the #95 (what we currently know as the Era), the #36 (currently called The Slip On).
    The compact nature of Vans’ canvas shoes has made for a compact box design that has stayed relatively consistent since the company’s formation in the 1970s. Rather than featuring a pop-off lid, the packaging comprises a singular piece of cardboard that tucks neatly into itself.
    Please look closely at the pictures... as this is the exact box I will be sending.
