Vintage 1980's DAK DMR-3000 Programmable Shortwave Radio
DAK was a catalog business located in Canoga Park, California named after the founder, Drew Allen Kaplan. I used to get his well written and entertaining catalogs tempting me with unusual electronic gadgets that were not available anywhere else. My favorite was the infra-red remote control watch... Being able to turn on and off my black and white Zenith TV from my wrist was soooo cool :)
The radio is very clean with only a minor blemish on the speaker grille (as shown)
Radio turns on, however, every station I tuned into wasn't clear, It may need to be repaired.
All buttons, knobs and switches are present, original and operate as intended.
The original antenna is intact, complete and able to extend fully and rorate as expected.
