Vintage Fancy Silver or Plate 198 Beveled Mirror & Brush Vanity Set - Flowers

Most of the items I have were purchased from estate sales or auctions.   The history and age of the items are usually unknown.   I am not an expert, so please check photos and contact me regarding any questions you have before bidding.   I will try to describe the items to the best of my ability.
This Listing:    Matching Mirror and Brush Set.   Silver or Silver Plate marked 198 on edge.   Purchased from estate.   These were nearly black when purchased.   I didn't use silver polish, just wiped them here and there with a sunshine polishing cloth.   If they were plated, I wanted to see if it was still there.   The metal did shine up where rubbed.   Beveled mirror is in good shape.  Looks white, since pointing at my white ceiling. Mirror about  5-1/2" x 9-5/8".   Fairly heavy weight.    Brush about 2-3/4" x 8-1/2".   Brush Feels much lighter for size....handle may be hollow.     I don't know the maker of these pieces, but the floral pattern is lovely.    Appear to be vintage.
