    Vintage Mens Footwear Black Leather Lace-up Athletic Sportswear Spats Gaiters
    This pair of mens footwear black leather lace-up athletic sportswear spats gaiters date from the 1920s. They are made of black leather with a cotton canvas lining and steel metal stays boning sewn inside. These gentleman's gaiters athletic sportswear spats have black metal eyelets with the original black shoe string laces for closure, a leather tongue underneath and are fully lined. The spats measure 3 inches tall and 6 inches long. These antique footwear accessory for athletic outdoor sportswear covering the instep, ankle and shoes stirrup style worn to protect the shoes and give added support. They are in good condition, gently worn and are missing the metal stays boning from inside of one spat. These are truly a rare and wonderful piece of antique athletic footwear accessory!
