    Description

    VTG 1957 GE Portable Television Turquoise Model 17P1330 - On MCM Stand.
    The mid 1950’s were the heyday for portable televisions. All major manufacturers were trying to outdo one another with sleek designs in alluring colors!
    This General Electric was made in 1957. It is a B/W television and boasts a 17” Screen.
    The TV is in a beautiful shade of Turquoise with a light blue and silver trim.
    It looks great for 65 yrs old! Antenna is intact - missing one knob at top- Chrome handle is strong - original back is intact. Cord and plug are intact - TV does not power up.
    There is a crack at the bottom corner & underside that does not have much impact on the beauty of the TV - see photos.
    The TV is on a MidCentury stand. The stand is on wheels - it is metal and black wood and has a cool star pierced shelf that mirrors the top of the Television!
    Stand will be disassembled for shipping.
    These Televisions are very desirable!
