You are purchasing the repair service of an OEM Cruise control module that fits most MK3 vehicles including Golf and Jetta (1993-1999) and Cabrio (1995-2002).
- All of these vehicles have a removable drivers knee panel (5 screws) that hides the CCM. Remove the panel and you will see a 10 mm nut holding a bracket.
- The CCM is mounted along side the immobilizer module directly below the headlight switch.
Also fits Passat GLX VR6 (1994-1997) and Jetta GLX VR6 (1993-1999)
- These vehicles can be identified by the dash design. They have no glove box and they have a beam under the dash from door to door, directly through the center console.
- The CCM is mounted behind the center console. The same plastic piece that holds the cigarette lighter.
Also fits 97 and 99 Eurovan and Rialta.
- The module is located in the center console near the heater controls. The access is from the right side of the console by either removing the glove box or an access panel.
This module is the most common cause of the cruise control system not working. I rarely find one of these modules functioning.
Upon placement of order, I will send the "ship to" address for your core.
The buyer is responsible for shipping the module to me and I will pay for the return shipping.
- The module can be shipped in a 6 x 9" padded envelope via USPS. The total weight will be approximately 6 oz
- Use First-Class Mail® Package and get a tracking number. This should cost you about .50
- Your car will run fine without this module... so your car won't be sidelined.
- I will provide you with all the information you need to remove the module.
Once you provide me with the tracking number for the module you are returning, I will ship you a repaired module immediately. This will get you a module as quickly as purchasing one outright.
