    I remember when the first family in my Chicago neighborhood bought one of these treasures. They couldn't afford a roof antenna so they settled for a "rabbit ears" unpredictable helper. All of a sudden they became very popular with the other neighbors, especially on Tuesday night when the Milton Berle Texaco Star Theatre was on and on Wednesday and Friday nights for Wrestling and Boxing. It changed their world and mine too.
    I ran a DVD player through the coax input on this set and watched several TV shows and movies from the 40s. Quite a conversation piece. We live in NW Phoenix and I wouldn't take a chance in shipping this item. Works and looks fine.
